South side of Himeji City — a fancy Italian restaurant, a bakery much loved by local residents, and a park with sweeping views of the Seto Inland Sea. Himeji has many great restaurants waiting to be discovered right across the city (not just around the main station). And slightly further afield and accessible by bus from Himeji Station, is Shosekiheki Park, with a lookout over the Seto Inland Sea.
